Anbarivu is a prototype rural drama directed by Aswin Raam and starring Hip Hop Adhi, Napoleon, Asha Sarath, and Sai Kumar. The film touches on casteism and age-old rituals, but it only goes so far. As an independent musician, Hip Hop Adhi created a name for himself. He is now an actor, filmmaker, music director, and producer, among other things. He is aware of his limits as an actor and strives to sell his work. Adhi is back with a family drama titled Anbarivu after Sivakumarin Sabadham.

The narrative of Anbu and Arivu, two estranged twins, is told in Anbarivu. A family rivalry is at its heart, and it's sometimes presented as a battle between two villages. Anbarivu is a film about casteism and the age-old customary traditions that are practiced in two fictional communities, Arasapatti and Andipatti. lakshmi (Asha Sharath), Muniyandi's (Napoleon) daughter, falls in love with prakasam (Sai Kumar) and resolves to marry him. prakasam hails from Andipatti, a village plagued by oppression. Muniyandi gives lakshmi permission to marry Prakasam. We eventually see prakasam being handled badly by someone from a lower caste. However, the word 'caste' is never used in the movie. We have no idea why.

Anbarivu transforms a family feud into a war between two villages. This leads to a lack of consistency in determining what the problem is and where it is located. Anbarivu's first half is tedious to watch since clichéd scenarios are layered on top of each other. Anbarivu's second half is full of unexpected twists and turns. Anbu and Arivu trade places, and the main disclosure occurs much sooner than we expected, leaving you to examine the story's development.
