Sarkaru Vaari Paata, the last movie starring Mahesh Babu, had an average box office performance. Fans of Mahesh were slightly won over by his charisma on television and his animated performance, but the uneven writing, disjointed plot, and poor music detracted from the enjoyment. Mahesh Babu's movies haven't recently received a film with universal acclaim. Fans claim that filmmakers can't handle Mahesh's stardom. 

They don't know how to exploit his charisma, good looks, and talent to appeal to both his admirers and the general public. Fans of Mahesh are likewise perplexed as a result. Before the release of Sarkaru Vaari Paata, Mahesh fans praised director Parasuram as junior Puri Jagannadh, but soon after, he was viciously mocked for making a subpar movie.
