While some people trolled him on social media, there was a section of people who went a step ahead and filed an FIR against the actor. This FIR has increased the problems of actor Ranveer Singh. After the FIR, he was called by the police to appear before him.

An ANI report reads, "In the nude photoshoot controversy, Chembur police station summoned actor ranveer singh to appear tomorrow. The actor has sought two weeks to appear. Now Chembur police have fixed a new date. Tax will send fresh summons."
A complaint was also filed against the actor of 'Rocky Aur rani Ki prem Kahani' with the maharashtra State Commission for Women. The complainant claimed that Ranveer's nude photoshoot was against the "dignity of women and small children". Then, an FIR was registered against the actor under section 292, section 293, and section 509 of IPC at Chembur police station.
