Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, the first Avengers film since 2019, can blend two flawless storytelling techniques from Avengers: Infinity war and Avengers: Endgame. The Avengers will return to the big screen in 2025 with two back-to-back films, Marvel Studios confirmed during San Diego Comic-Con 2023, after the majority of Phase 4 passed with no information regarding the upcoming Avengers picture. The first of those two parts, The Kang Dynasty, will feature Kang The Conqueror as its major antagonist, setting up a superhero dynamic like to Infinity war and Endgame.

There weren't many options for Marvel to take the Avengers after the spectacular conclusion of the Infinity Saga in Avengers: Endgame, except from the universe. The only way to top what was accomplished in Infinity war and Endgame was by allowing the Marvel universe's boundless potential, which was hinted at by Loki and will be fully realised in Secret Wars. Kang, a time traveller villain, will be the Avengers' first foe before Secret Wars in the MCU, in addition to the universe.

It's unclear if Kang will appear in Secret Wars, but it's safe to assume that The Kang Dynasty will present the Avengers with their toughest challenge to date. Although physically weaker than Thanos, Kang and his many incarnations are extremely intelligent and can use time as their greatest weapon. As a result, battling Kang will be considerably more difficult than simply pitting iron Man, Thor, and Captain America against Thanos. Because killing a Kang typically signals the beginning of a far bigger issue, as Loki's He Who Remains shown, the Avengers won't be able to take on Kang in the traditional sense. Due to the way Infinity war and Endgame divided the Avengers into teams to battle Thanos, The Kang Dynasty's pacing is distinct and resembles that of those films.
