Recently, actress alia bhatt in an interview talked about her motherhood journey and revealed the cutest romantic gesture that her baby girl Raha does when she breastfeeds her. Bollywood actress alia bhatt is a  proud mom to her baby girl Raha Kapoor, whom she welcomed on 6 november 2022. Since then, alia has been striking a good balance between her work and mom duties. The actress has managed to transform beautifully and shed all that extra weight within six months after giving birth to her baby girl. Now, alia bhatt has opened up on her motherhood journey so far.

In an interview with 'Harper's Bazaar magazine, alia bhatt talked about her beautiful moments with her baby girl Raha. Reflecting on the same, the new mom shared that when she feeds Raha, Raha looks at her and starts touching her face. Calling it the best thing that has ever happened to her, Aaliyah said, "My daughter has started touching my face. I think this past week is the best thing that has happened to me because now when I feed her When I do it, she just takes a minute, looks at me, and starts touching my face. It's like a romantic moment between us and it's the best thing that happened to me in my life. "

Alia Bhatt said – having a baby was a natural decision

Alia Bhatt opened up about having a baby at the peak of her career and called it a brave decision. Recalling how people asked her if she would slow down after having a baby? The actress shared that she wants to embrace motherhood with love. 

Calling it a very happy and natural decision, alia said, "You would never ask a man if having a child at the peak of his career was a bold decision. I am being asked, 'Can you slow down your speed? Willing to cut back because you have a family?' But for me, it's okay. Maybe after working at a certain pace for 10 years, I thought, okay, maybe I can cut it down and be a mother." Alia further added, “I feel like it was very much inspired by love. I've always been someone who just acts out of love, so having a baby was completely out of love and I don't think there was any question. It was a very happy, natural decision."

Alia Bhatt reveals daughter Raha's nickname

Talking about why she chose the unique name Raha for her baby girl, alia bhatt shared that she loves the fact that it has beautiful meanings in multiple languages. However, the new mother revealed that she calls Raha by different nicknames and also shared the nickname she has given to her baby girl. 

In her words, “I enjoyed the fact that her name means so many beautiful things in so many languages. It means peace in Arabic, it means joy in Swahili, and it means path in Hindi. They all feel the same. We call her by different nicknames, but I like to call her 'Pumpkin' and 'Pudding' and 'Pumpkin Latte' and 'Cappuccino'. I call him random names sometimes. Whatever sounds cute that's what it is for."

Alia Bhatt reveals the lessons she learned from motherhood

In the same conversation, alia bhatt spoke about the life lessons she has learned from her new motherhood journey and revealed that every day with her daughter Raha is a new day. Talking about the same, she revealed that the most important thing she has learned is patience and added that being a child gave her a sense of peace. However, she added that motherhood is more demanding from the start and can be extremely overwhelming, but patience gives her great inner strength. On the professional front, alia bhatt was last seen in the film 'Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva' opposite her husband Ranbir Kapoor.
