The pre-Lord Ram's (Prabhas) Vanvas phase is briefly recapped before we jump right into what appears to be a Kingdom Of The North-inspired setup from Game Of Thrones, where Lankesh "Ravana" (Saif ali Khan) is receiving his boon from his great-grandfather Lord Brahma. Shurpanakha, the sister of Lankesh, tries to ask Lord Rama to wed her even though she is already married to Sita (Kriti Sanon), and as a result, loses her nose to him.

This ignites the conflict between the two groups, prompting Lankesh to kidnap Sita while posing as a Sadhu (Saint), and for Raghav to attack him in a rage that isn't typically associated with him. In order to free Janaki from Ravana's grip, Lord Rama enlists the aid of Sugreev, Lord Hanuman (Devdatta Nage), and his brother Lakshman (Sunny Singh). As a result, he is dubbed the prince of ayodhya and the rightful ruler of his people.

Everyone is aware that this plot is based on the epic "Ramayana," and filmmaker Om Raut wrote the screenplay, which is an inconsistently disorganized muddle. Because telling the story is so deeply ingrained in every Indian, the filmmakers decided to take the chance of delivering it incorrectly. The story was intended to be the film's USP, but because it is so personal to each of us, it will eventually damage you.

Adipurush has gone through all five phases of accepting grief since the release of its trailer. When the trailer first came out, moviegoers and devotees of Lord Rama were in "denial," wondering how someone could do such a terrible job of portraying a tale that is so precious to many of us. Then, some people's "anger" manifested itself as trolling on social media, where they attempted to "bargain" with the movie's producers to modify at least some of the movie. However, having seen the movie, I can now affirm that the outcome is nothing more than a "depressing" truth, and we must all "accept" the fact that this is #NotOurRamayana.
