The distributor Sarigama Cinemas is said to have been the most thrilled with Samajavaragamana's unexpectedly high box office results, and they have now begun a new era. Prior films from the same distributors, Sarigama Cinemas, rrr and kgf 2, had substantial budgets, however Samajavaragamana continues to outperform these two in terms of return on investment. It now amazes me how it gives them the boost they would not have had even with rrr and KGF's tremendous success.
After Samajavaragamana, any short film with respectable substance will fetch a respectable price in the US market. One thing is certain: regardless of size, every entertaining film will receive applause. Samajavaragamana showed it by performing well and raking in large sums despite having little to no hype prior to release.
