Tollywood director koratala siva had earlier revealed that “Devara” is a magnum opus set against the backdrop of the forgotten lands of Coastal India. The narrative is expansive, with each character carrying significant weight. The decision to create the film in two parts stems from the need to explore and establish characters in detail and depth. The film is slated for release on april 5, 2023.
Meanwhile Devara is reportedly being made on a substantial budget, with around Rs 140 crore allocated for VFX. Approximately 33 per cent of the film’s original budget has been dedicated to special effects. The director is focusing on completing the shooting of action sequences to provide ample time for the VFX and technical team to deliver an unparalleled cinematic experience. Produced by Yuvasudha Arts and ntr Arts, the film features music by Anirudh Ravichander.
Telugu actor Jr ntr, who made a significant pan-India impact with SS Rajamouli’s rrr last year, has kept fans eagerly awaiting his next project not only in the telugu states but across the country. His upcoming film, previously referred to as ntr 30, is titled Devara and is directed by koratala Siva. Currently, amid active shooting, rumour has it that the teaser for the film will soon be unveiled, possibly as a Sankranthi gift for fans.
