Apparently, with the names "Krish" and "Jothi Krishna" connected to Pawan Kalyan's "Hari Hara Veera Mallu Part 1" teaser, rumours began to circulate that the creative director had walked away from the movie. With Jothi Krishna's name coming up, it appears like krish walked away, but this is not the case.

The creators of hari Hara Veera Mallu said that krish has not walked away from the project, but the film's delays have prompted the filmmaker to pursue other opportunities. krish is now working on a film with anushka shetty, and he is claimed to be so preoccupied with it that he is unable to devote time to HHVM post production. As a result, AM Ratnam's son Jothi krishna has joined the project, and things are expected to move forward under Krish's supervision.

Krish has a history of walking out of large projects, such as kangana Ranaut's Mani Karnika, but he can't do so with this being a pawan kalyan picture, and more significantly, a telugu one. According to historical sources, hari Hara Veera Mallu was an outlaw during Aurangzeb's reign, stealing crores of rupees from the affluent and kings and distributing them to the destitute. And it appears that the producers of the same-titled film, starring Pawan Kalyan, want to offer the public a glimpse of it.
