In such a situation, now the makers have shown wisdom and removed the controversial scene from 'Jaat'. The makers have also apologized to all the viewers while giving information about this.
'Jaat' production house Mythri movie Makers posted on instagram that the controversial scene has been removed from the film. The post says- 'A particular scene in the film has been criticized a lot. This scene has been removed from the film immediately. Our intention was not to hurt anyone's religious sentiments.
The production house further wrote- 'We deeply regret this and have taken the step of removing the scene from the film. We sincerely apologize to all those whose faith has been hurt.' Let us tell you that there was a scene in 'Jaat' in which the character of the film's villain Randeep Hooda was standing inside the church under the cross and right above the holy stage, during which people were praying. This scene of the film was accused of hurting Christian religious sentiments, which the makers have now removed.
What did the 'Jaat' director say about the controversy
Recently, 'Jaat' director Gopichand Malineni reacted to the uproar over the film. Talking to india Today, he said- 'On social media, everyone has their phone and their thoughts. For example, I love Lord Balaji, but even when it comes to God, people have different opinions about whom to worship. Similarly, when people watch films, they have many different opinions. There are a lot of minds out there.'

Gopichand Malineni further said- 'Today, everyone has access to their social media platforms and they are all sharing their views. I don't think much about it. You should do what you feel, what you like, and what your focus is on. Just go with the same flow.'
