In a conversation with dna India, when nani was asked that bollywood is given less importance in the South. On this, nani said, 'Hindi cinema is original. South cinema came later. The love that South cinema has started getting is from some time ago. But bollywood cinema has been liked in the South for decades. If you ask anyone there which is your favorite hindi film?'

'They will have memories related to amitabh Bachchan. They will talk about a lot of films. We have always watched blockbuster hindi films like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, dil To Pagal Hai. Right now everyone is talking about South films but hindi cinema has always been liked in the whole country.'

We all watch Salman's films. The culture was kept alive in Hum Aapke Hain Kaun, many songs like Didi Tera Devar Deewana were played in weddings.'
