Bollywood superstar salman Khan's film 'Sikander' was one of the most awaited films of this year. But when the film came to the theatres, it failed to impress the audience. The film went bankrupt at the box office. 'Sikander' proved to be a disaster at the box office, to which salman Khan's co-actor nawazuddin siddiqui has now reacted.

In a recent interview with indian Express, nawazuddin siddiqui held the makers responsible for the failure of 'Sikander' at the box office. The actor said- 'The responsibility for this should not fall only on Bhai (Salman Khan). The makers should have worked hard to give essence and quality to the film. They are doing everything for you, but if the director does not work properly, then we cannot put all the blame on the superstar.'

'Someone like salman khan can't make anyone...'

Talking about film making, nawazuddin siddiqui further said- 'It is a team art, not a painting that you make alone at home. The specialty of a superstar is that he turns even an ordinary film into a big attraction, whether it has that essence or not. When a person like salman khan signs to do a film, the responsibility of the director increases because he is bringing so many fans to you on a platter.'
