In a recent interview with satyadev Burman's YouTube channel, The Full Circle, mandira bedi talked about her husband's death. She said, 'I can now say without breaking down completely that the first year, the first of everything, the first birthday, the first anniversary, the first Diwali, raj loved Diwali, the first New Year, all this was very difficult.'

Mandira further said- 'The first moment of everything is when you sit in your room and close the door, and you don't want to talk to anyone. You cry, and you cry until you can't cry anymore.' Mandira further told that she does not celebrate Raj's death anniversary. She said- 'I did a month's puja, a year's puja, and all the other rituals. After a year's puja, I decided that I would not celebrate this day anymore. Why should we celebrate this day? What is there to remember on this day? This is a sad day in our lives.'

Raj's death had a deep impact on his son Veer

During this, Mandira also told that at the time of Raj's death, her adopted daughter tara Sarf was 8-9 months old. At the same time, her son Veer, who was close to his father, was deeply affected by Raj's death. Talking about the impact of Raj's death on son Veer, Mandira said- 'I never told him to stop crying. Boys don't cry, this is nonsense. I told him to cry as much as he wants and shed his tears because the sooner you sheds your tears, we will be able to remember them.'
