What is the whole matter
BMC is now investigating whether the rules of the Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) have been violated or not. Let us tell you that RTI activist Santosh Daudkar had made this complaint about Mannat, after which the BMC team arrived. Now on June 21 at 11 am, BMC will submit the investigation report to the complainant.
Mannat is one of the Grade III heritage structures
Shahrukh Khan's bungalow Mannat is one of the Grade III heritage structures. That is why it is necessary to get permission from the authorities to make any kind of structural change in the bungalow. Social activist Santosh Daundkar had already written a letter to NGT alleging that Shahrukh Khan has violated the Coastal Regulation Zone in taking permission for renovation in Mannat. Then NGT directed Santosh Daundkar to present evidence regarding the allegations leveled against Shahrukh Khan.
Mannat's renovation may take a year
Due to the renovation of Mannat, Shah Rukh Khan is living with his entire family on rent in a nearby building in Bandra. According to reports, 2 new floors are being added to Mannat through renovation. The interior, furniture, and lighting of the house are also being changed. In such a situation, it may take about a year for Mannat to be renovated.
