Bollywood actor amitabh bachchan has expressed his gratitude for the 'values' given to him by his parents Teji Bachchan and Harivansh Rai Bachchan. He said that the good teachings and values taught to him by his parents are a very precious legacy for him. Amitabh believes that it is because of these values that he has been able to reach this position today.


Amitabh told the importance of rituals

Amitabh talked about 'Sanskar' in his blog. He wrote, "In Hindu tradition, 'Sanskar' means those special customs and rituals which are done on different occasions in a person's life. Their purpose is to purify the body, mind, and thoughts of a person and to make his character and personality good." He said that sanskar (culture) plays very important role in shaping a person's nature, thinking, and behavior. These sanskars teach them to follow the right path, understand the difference between right and wrong, and live honestly.

Sanskar and social unity

Big B further said, "Sanskar is a way through which our cultural values, traditions, and beliefs are passed on from one generation to the other. This keeps the unity in the society intact and our traditions keep moving forward."


 He further said that due to sanskaras, fear is reduced, the mind becomes strong and one gets the strength to live life with courage and confidence.

The megastar said that his parents gave a lot of importance to Sanskar. He said, "In our life, especially in childhood days, Maa and Babuji always gave a lot of importance to sanskar. This is a beautiful quality, which was instilled in us since childhood."
