They have a son, naga Chaitanya.

Later separated and married amala akkineni in 1992.

Affair Rumours with Tabu

Nagarjuna was rumored to have an affair with bollywood actress tabu while married to Amala.

They worked together in films like Ninne Pelladatha and Aavida Maa Aavide.

Reports suggested they were in a relationship for around 10 years.

Nagarjuna never confirmed the affair but called tabu a longtime friend and said she holds a special place in his life.

The alleged relationship ended as nagarjuna did not want to break his marriage.


Amala’s Reaction

Amala dismissed the rumors.

She said, “Tabu will always be close, and whenever she comes to Hyderabad, she stays with the Akkineni family.”

Expressed her trust in both nagarjuna and tabu, not believing the speculations.
