Sources claim that while working on Ramayana, the team felt Hanuman deserved his own cinematic platform.
A source revealed: “As soon as the team saw the initial script of Hanuman’s scenes in Ramayana, they knew this character needed something bigger.”
Sunny Deol’s name repeatedly came up as “who could play this role better than him,” especially since he is also part of the main Ramayana film.

The makers are reportedly planning a connected universe, similar to Marvel’s Avengers.
Characters from different films will interlink and crossover, creating a larger mythological saga.
The Hanuman musical is expected to be the second major installment in the Ramayana universe.
