Bollywood actor sunny deol has made a powerful comeback with Border 2, which released in theatres today.
The war-action film opened to an unexpectedly strong response, drawing large crowds from the very first morning shows.
Trade analysts note that Border 2 has changed the opening-day game, beating several big-ticket releases in morning occupancy.

According to trade website Sacnilk, Border 2 recorded 19.46% morning occupancy on Day 1.
With this, the film surpassed 2025’s biggest opener, Dhurandhar, on its first morning.
It also moved ahead of several other high-profile releases, signaling strong initial audience interest.

Positive reviews and strong word of mouth are likely to push weekend box office numbers higher.
