2 years after the release of his comeback to films, Megastar Chiranjeevi is back on screen this time with his dream project, the big-budget historical venture Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, the biopic of freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narsimha Reddy. With a huge star cast and stunning visuals, Sye Raa promised a grand entertainer and here's team AP Herald's exclusive first on net Sye Raa review.

Sye Raa begins 10 years before the nation's first war of independence in 1857. Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy (Chiranjeevi) a Telugu Palegar lives with his wife Siddhamma (Nayanthara), ruling a part of Rayalaseema and then enter British East India company who come for business but plan to plunder riches and loot Indian resources to their country. As Narasimha Reddy is angered by this, he begins a rebellion and wants to oppose the British and joins hands 61 Palegars of seema region such as Veera Reddy (Jagapathi Babu), Avuku Raju Kicha Sudeep), Raja Pandi (Vijay Sethupathi) and is guided by his Guru Gosayi Venkanna (Amitabh Bachchan). Was Narasimha Reddy's rebellion successful and whether his team of revolting Palegars able to overpower the British is what the movie is all about.

Megastar Chiranjeevi is terrific and delivers an amazing performance as Narasimha,and his mighty voice and powerful screen presence, the charisma, the dialogue delivery and body language, everything brings alive freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy on screen. Nayanthara delivers an emotional act besides looking majestic, while Tamannaah is fiery and delivers an intense performance as well. Vijay Sethupathi as Raja Pandi is massy and Amitabh Bachchan oozes class, while Sudeep and Jagapathi Babu are impressive in their roles, while Ravi Kishan, Niharika, Mukesh Rishi are adequate.

The background score by Julius Packiam is terrific and elevates many sequences to whole new level, and the re-recording is world class. Of the songs by Amit Trivedi, Sye Raa and ankitam are impressive. Cinematography by Rathnavelu is top notch and captures the stunning grand visuals in an impressive manner. The CG in the war sequences are captured spectacularly, and editing by Sreekar Prasad makes sure there's never a dull moment.

Director Surender Reddy has come up with his first historical movie, and has taken up the dream project of Megastar Chiranjeevi, presenting the life of one of the earliest freedom fighters of Andhra, Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. The movie is gripping right from the word go, and presents spectacular visuals, detailing on the life of Narasimha Reddy and his rebellion, and director packs the screenplay with enough goosebumps moments to keep the both mass and class audience entertained. The second half moves at a breakneck pace and with even more massy and exciting, emotional and intense sequences powered by Chiranjeevi. Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy has action, emotions and patriotism in right mix, and has been crafted impressively by Surender Reddy's gripping screenplay. With a superb support cast, rich technical team, terrific musical score and grand visuals, Sye Raa has rich production values, thanks to Ramcharan and is powered by the impeccable, unmatched Megastar Chiranjeevi to success.
