Atlanta sources have stated that last month, it was asked Indian and American teens to submit an essay on the topic, ‘Growing up Indian in America’ and they had a total of 15 submissions and had seven in the senior age group 16-18 years and eight in the junior group 13-15 years.

Prior to this, she worked as a journalist with The Times of India, where she primarily covered issues related to health and education and she holds a Master’s degree in Social Service from Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania, USA and has trained as a journalist in the United Kingdom.
