An 18-year-old indian student at Indiana university was attacked by a fellow passenger on a bus without cause in yet another incident of racial-motivated violence. When the person now known as Billie Pottroff approached the female student who was waiting for the bus doors to open at the entryway, she stabbed her seven times in the head.

Although the seriousness of the incident is still unknown, the student is currently receiving treatment in a hospital. In Bloomington, Indiana, a public bus was where the incident took place. The attacker just stabbed the student once with a folding knife, folded it, and then proceeded to sit on the student's seat normally. As Billie was exiting the vehicle, one of the passengers followed her and informed the police of her whereabouts. The hearing for the suspect, Billie, was postponed after she was arrested and she was being held in custody on a $100,000 bail.

The police have claimed that the incident was racially motivated because Billie believed the Asian student to be Chinese and said, "It would be one less person to blow up our country," even if the exact date of her next hearing is unknown. A fundraiser has been set up by the victim's loved ones to help cover the cost of her medical care.
