What steps kejriwal has taken?
1. Meeting with Legislature party, then kejriwal met councillors
Aam Aadmi party convenor arvind kejriwal held a meeting with all the MLAs of the party at his residence on wednesday afternoon. He asked all the MLAs to tell the real 'story' of Sisodia-Jain's resignation to the public by running a door-to-door campaign from march 5. At the same time, he gave a target to involve the public in his protest. The MLAs were asked to convey to the public that behind the arrest of Sisodia and Jain, the aim of the bjp government at the Center is to 'disturb' the success of Delhi's health and education models. Along with this, kejriwal has also asked the MLAs to give suggestions in this matter. After this meeting, kejriwal also held a meeting with the recently elected MCD councillors of AAP and they have been given the same target.
2. Distribute the departments of Sisodia and Jain to others so that the government can continue
Manish Sisodia had the responsibility of 18 departments of delhi as a minister, while Jain was also handling half a dozen departments. In such a situation, there was a possibility of a setback to the functioning of the government due to the resignation of these two leaders. kejriwal has assigned eight important portfolios to Kailash Gehlot such as Finance, Planning, PWD, Energy, Home, Urban Development, Irrigation, Food Control and Water Department, while Rajkumar anand has got the responsibility of carrying forward Sisodia's education model. anand has also been entrusted with the ministries of Land and Building, Vigilance, Services, Tourism, Art and Culture, Labour, Environment and Health.
