The 11 named locations include, two residential areas, five mountain peaks, two land areas, and two rivers. The area claimed by china is always under indian control. But china wants to claim these places as its own by giving them Chinese names. The announcement of renaming these 11 places has been released on april 2. This is the third time that china has renamed its territories. Earlier in 2017, China's Ministry of Civil Affairs published a list of six similar places. It is noteworthy that the name list of 15 places was released in 2021 as well.
