On the last day of the cm Cup Men's and Women's Football Championships 2023, held at Gachibowli Stadium on Wednesday, the hyderabad district team defeated the jogulamba gadwal district team 2-0 to claim the top spot. khammam district defeated nalgonda district 3-2 in the women's division final. Prizes were given out by TFA secretary G P Palguna and Gachibowli in-charge ravi Kumar following the competition.

Results: Men: Finals: hyderabad bt jogulamba gadwal 3-0; Semifinals: hyderabad bt Sanga reddy 2-0, jogulamba gadwal bt nizamabad 3-1; For third place: Sanga reddy bt Nizambad 1-0; Women: Final: khammam bt nalgonda 3-2; For third place: Nizambad bt kamareddy 2-0.

A district-level 2 Km cross country sprinting competition was held on sunday in the Naspur mandal centre, and two pupils from Carmel Convent High school performed exceptionally well.

Anil, the physical education teacher and coach at the school, said in a press release that Ch Sushrita Prajwala won the silver medal and Nakshatra took home the gold. The pupils were thanked by the institution's principal Sister Rincy, vice principal Anoopa, Sister Jelli, PETs sukumar Francis, Chiranjeevi, and Lalitha for doing well in the competition and bringing attention to the school.
