Now the doors seem to be more or less shut on the state of Andhra
Pradesh over granting of Special Status. The discussion now is whether
TDP will pull out of the NDA government and what will be the
consequences if it does or doesn’t! Right now, the bargain looks pretty
tough for TDP.
Even if TDP pulls out of NDA it
is already known that BJP has enough numbers in the Lok Sabha. The only
way now to exert pressure on Center is a mass agitation from a person
who made tall claims and it is none other than Pawan Kalyan, the founder
and boss of Jana Sena party.
When it comes to
questioning TDP, Pawan doesn’t take much time but many are wondering why
is he silent even after Centre making its stance clear over special
status. His perspective remains to be seen. PK mentioned once that his
response will be different if BJP clearly says no.
However
as the BJP has made it very clear that Andhra Pradesh won’t get special
status, his followers and well wishers feel the time has come for Pawan
Kalyan to announce his future course of agitation. His very credibility
is now more or less at stake if he doesn’t rise to the occasion!
