With power comes great responsibility. People in power should have confidence, patience and capability to handle criticism and still be in power. Team TRS seems to lack it, at least their Supremo. KCR’s recent outburst in Assembly meeting on TV9 and ABN is an example. He forgot his party is in power and certainly can make the rules and also can take an action. Instead, discussion and dissent in Assembly clearly indicates the frustration on Media and opposition, just in 15 days in power. By now, team TRS is clear that their going is tough and what remains to be seen is whether they will tough in going. Farmer Loan waive-off by Telangana government is another example of pressure in power. According to TRS manifesto, farmer loans to be waived off once the party gains the power. Once the party is in power, government announced only loans taken after Jun 2013, only below one lakh rupees and only farm loans will be waived off. This certainly is the decision taken considering budget constraints and financial burden. With announcement, at least ten families have committed suicide. These ten lives clearly are in the account of TRS and KCR and their hurried and irresponsible statements. Severe opposition from farmers and opposition parties lead to change in the decision of waiving off all loans. Effigies of KCR burnt with in the week of swearing ceremony. Team TRS bogged down by pressure created by opposition and media. TRS Supremo requesting Prime minister of everything that Seemandhra got including Special category Status vindicates his fear and lack of confidence on himself and his team. What is not clear is, if everything is given by central then what his party is planning to do for the state and for people who bestowed their confidence. Employees’ war room and Seemandhrites should go back announcements are also among the other examples of immature politics. Solving Telangana employee’s problems should definitely be the agenda but should have been done in much more calm and dignified way. Sending and keeping cabinet ministers in Himachal to monitor the searching activity of recent accident victim is another immature decision. Actually, government should have taken help of center and the team that have influence in center. According to recent reports, government suggested L&T to change the metro rail design to underground in certain area just before the completion of project. L&T management, which is known for finishing projects before time, shocked to hear this. Changing the plans now not only delay the project by another eight to ten months but will cost heavily to the government. Ideally this should have been taken care in next projects but clearly this is muscle showing technique of KCR and TRS. Not to forgot KCR announced a year back that TRS will destroy everything that built by L&T. This clearly shows the immaturity of the party and it’s leaders. These kind of decisions severely dent the investment opportunities in future. Being in power is a responsibility, a responsibility to take state to new heights but not for revenges and irresponsible speeches. But team TRS and KCR is just working only for critics, opposition and old agendas. TRS also should remember they are no longer agitation party, they are party in power. Party should also stop talking on Semmandhrites and their influence as it will only talk about TRS inability and inefficiencies. Hope the new government will learn from their mistakes and take decisions on the merit not under pressure and influence
