Delhi police has entirely prohibited the usage of drones or paragliders until august 16th as a part of Anti-terror measures and this has been done with respect to the security protocols ahead of Independence Day. delhi police feels that terrorists can definitely put a threat if they are getting access to aerial platforms like drones, paragliders, hot-air balloons, and so on.

So, they entirely barred all aerial routes and this order comes effectively from today morning (July 16th). Regarding this issue, delhi police Commissioner balaji Srivastava said, "It has come to our knowledge that lots of criminals and terrorists are making plans to put a threat on the common people, and VIPs who are coming to the capital city on the Independence day.

So we have decided to ban all hang-gliders, Paramotors, Unmanned Aerial vehicles for the next one month, and those who don't follow or accompany these rules they will be charged under IPC section 188 and will face the charges immediately." Already, delhi cops have seized several drones and drone cameras who were using them today morning itself.
