Sanjay Rawat, a shiv sena MP, was speaking to the media in mumbai today about the situation.

He said, "The delhi demonstrations resulted in the deaths of around 700 farmers. Many people took their own lives. Some people were slain by police bullets. In Lakhimpur, Kerry, some people were killed in an automobile accident. All of these people were speaking out against agricultural laws. The central government has now acknowledged its errors and agreed to repeal the agriculture laws. Compensation for the farmers who died in the conflict is being demanded from various sections of the country. Compensation for the families of the deceased farmers should be provided from the PM Cares Fund's vast assets."
