Anna Hazare, a social activist, has been hospitalized in a pune hospital with chest problems. According to doctors, the chest pain has subsided and is now stable. The anti-corruption movement's face in 2011 was Anna Hazare. In 2013, he played a key role in enacting the Lokpal Anti-Corruption Act. He now lives in Ralegan Siddhi hamlet in Maharashtra's Ahmednagar district, around 86 kilometers from Pune.

Hazare, who has gone on hunger strikes in the past for social problems, was admitted to hospital in 2019 following a seven-day fast asking that anti-corruption watchdogs be appointed. Doctors at the time believed he was feeble due to a lack of blood circulation to his brain. Earlier this year, Hazare declared his fast. He emailed prime minister Narendra Modi a letter pushing him to begin a hunger strike over three controversial agricultural legislation, stating, "By the end of January, I shall begin the last hunger strike of my life."

In the presence of bjp senior leader Fatnavis, he later withdrew and called off the strike. He stated that his decision to resign was based on the federal government's decision to act on the 15 demands he had outlined. "For three years, I've been pushing the issue of farmers. "I received a letter from the government stating that the administration has decided to increase the minimum support price for fruit items by 50%," he stated. Anna Hazare, a community activist, was hospitalised to Ruby Hall Clinic Hospital in pune due to chest problems. According to Hazare's medical superintendent, Dr. Abdul, his health is stable.
