It is noteworthy that the CEO of facebook mark zuckerberg did not post defamatory remarks against akhilesh yadav on Facebook.

A case has been registered against facebook CEO mark zuckerberg for posting defamatory remarks against Samajwadi party president Akhilesh Yadav. The case was filed in the Uttar Pradesh Kannauj district Court.

According to PTI, a case has been registered against Zuckerberg and 49 others.

Most notably, Zuckerberg did not publish a direct post against Akhilesh Yadav.

The reason for filing a lawsuit against Zuckerberg is that he used his media platform to publish a defamatory post.

Amit Kumar has filed a case against Zuckerberg his native from Sarahati in the Kannauj district.

The FIR alleges that an attempt was made to tarnish the image of the Samajwadi party leader through a facebook page called Bua Bahua.

The word Bua Bahua was coined when rivals BSP chairperson mayawati and akhilesh yadav formed a coalition during the 2019 parliamentary elections.

Senior police officials responded to the PTA by saying that an investigation was underway against other admins of the facebook page by omitting Zuckerberg's name.

District Magistrate Dharamveer Singh had asked the police to register a case on Kumar's complaint.

Then he proceeded with the complaint and registered an FIR against  Mark Zuckerberg and other facebook page admins.
