PM Modi tops the list of Global leaders?
Prime minister Narendra Modi has once again emerged as the most popular leader in the world. Modi tops the list of the world's most popular leaders with a 71% rating. Leaders such as US President Joe Biden, Canadian President Justin Trudeau, and british prime minister Boris Johnson are also behind him in terms of popularity. Mexico's President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador is second on the list of world leaders with a 66%rating, while Italian prime minister Mario Draghi is third with a 60% rating.
US President Joe Biden is in 6th place with a 43% rating. In seventh place is Canadian President Justin Trudeau, who also has a 43 percent rating. Australian prime minister Scott Morrison has since received a 14 percent rating. Britain's prime minister Boris Johnson is 13th with a 26% rating.
Morning Consult Political Intelligence currently tracks government leaders in Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, Spain, the UK, and the US, and approves ratings of the country's leading leaders.
"Data collected as per the rating which held on january 13 and 19, 2022. This rating is based on a seven-day average survey of adult citizens in each country. The number of people participating in the survey varies from country to country," Morning Consult said on its website.
Also in May 2020, the website gave the highest rating of 84% to prime minister Modi, which dropped to 63% in May 2021.
