The indian wrestlers, who beat the opposition wrestler on the mat, have also given the first beating to the President of the Wrestling Federation of India, Brij bhushan Sharan Singh. Wrestlers, who have been protesting at Delhi's Jantar Mantar for three days, ended their agitation late on friday night. The wrestlers took this decision after a late-night meeting with Union sports Minister Anurag Thakur. In this meeting, the sports Minister also announced the formation of a committee to probe the allegations of se*ual harassment levelled against Brij bhushan by women wrestlers. Along with this, till the completion of the investigation of this committee, Brij bhushan will be asked to leave the responsibility of the post of president. Earlier, the indian Olympic Association (IOA) also constituted an inquiry committee headed by Olympic winner boxer Mary Kom in this matter.

Wrestlers again demanded the removal of Brij bhushan in a meeting with sports Minister anurag thakur for the second consecutive day. In the meeting that lasted till late at night, it was finally decided that the sports Ministry would also form an inquiry committee. After the meeting, Thakur told in the press conference that the names of the members of this oversight committee will be announced on Saturday. This committee will submit its report in the next four weeks.
