At least four state chief executives, including K Chandrashekhar Rao, have made the decision to forgo the ninth niti aayog Governing Council meeting scheduled for this saturday in Delhi. 'Viksit Bharat @ 2047: Role of Team India' will be the topic of the summit, which will be presided over by prime minister Narendra Modi.
The eighth Governing Council Meeting is intended to develop a roadmap for Viksit Bharat, the new election slogan of the BJP-led union government, by 2047. The prime minister serves as the Governing Council's chairman, and its members include all of the Chief Ministers, the Lieutenant Governors of the union Territories, and several union Ministers.

NITI Aayog has been explicitly referred to as "useless" by chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, who last attended the Governing Council meeting in 2018, according to sources. T Harish Rao, the finance minister, and other departmental representatives, however, spoke on behalf of the State. But according to reports, the Centre insisted that only the chief minister attend the meeting that the prime minister would be presiding over at the most recent communiqué.

Considering that the union government has confirmed that the invitation was intended for the Chief Ministers, they are likewise choosing not to send representatives. kejriwal made the decision to skip the niti aayog meeting, saying that if "cooperative federalism becomes a joke, then it is not worth to join the meeting" while mamata banerjee is preoccupied with other obligations and views the Centre's directive as a pretext to prevent the States from raising issues.
