Satyavathi Rathod, the minister for tribal welfare, broke ground on various infrastructure development projects and a number of others in the district on Friday. In addition to making the area a popular tourism destination in the state, the administration, according to her, was committed to ensuring the region's residents' overall growth.

Rathod opened a revenue guest house (worth Rs. 16 lakh), a chilli processing machine, and a Mandal Praja Parishad school in the Balannagudem hamlet that had been restored with funds from the "Mana Ooru-Mana Badi" programme. She subsequently poured the foundation for the GCC fueling stations at Pusuru and Muppanapally. Additionally, she opened the Kannaigudem MPDO office and health sub-center. She opened facilities at MPPS and a diagnostic hub at the Community health Centre (CHC) in Eturnagaram.

The opening of a cutting-edge chilli processing facility in Kamponigudem, which cost Rs 2 crore to develop, was one of the day's highlights. This processing facility will be essential in promoting regional agricultural products and bolstering the economy of the countryside.

Speaking at the event, the minister noted that this distant region would flourish as a result of the opening of the infrastructure development projects. She claimed that the administration is working on a variety of further efforts to raise the standard of living for district residents, including the $65 million building of a new district collectorate office complex that would house all of the government's offices.

She formally lay the groundwork for the Girijan Cooperative Corporation (GCC) filling station in Jakaram, close to mulugu town, earlier in the day.
