According to CNN, a 34-year-old lady in the US state of Arizona is accused of trying to murder her husband by adding bleach to his coffee every day for many months. After her husband provided authorities with a video of her allegedly pouring bleach into his coffee pot, Melody Felicano Johnson of Tucson was indicted by a grand jury for attempted first-degree murder, attempted aggravated assault, and administering poison to food or drink.

In March, when they were both stationed in Germany, the husband, Roby Johnson, began to notice a bad taste in his coffee, according to court records acquired by CNN affiliate KVOA. Using pool testing strips, US air Force member Roby Johnson discovered extremely high chlorine levels in his coffee maker.

Roby Johnson installed a covert camera to learn the truth, and it caught his wife adding an unknown ingredient to the coffee maker. Melody Johnson entered a not-guilty plea during the court on Friday. She has a public defender assigned to her, but he or she has not yet spoken on the matter.
