In the coming days, the prestigious 2.6-kilometer-long steel flyover between Indira Park and VST, marketed as a bi-directional elevated corridor built to address traffic issues in densely populated areas of rtc junction, will be officially opened. The steel flyover, which was built by hyderabad municipal corporation-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>greater hyderabad municipal corporation (GHMC) at a cost of over Rs 350 crore, would be Hyderabad's 20th flyover to be built as part of the Strategic Road Development Plan (SRDP).

Senior ghmc officials indicated that crucial work relating to commuter safety, including as the installation of LEDs, signage and collision barriers, has been finished and that the flyover's top speed will be 40 kilometres per hour. The frequent traffic jams at highly populated areas close to Musheerabad, rtc cross roads, Indira Park, Ashoknagar, Vidyanagar, etc. will finally be resolved thanks to the VST flyover. Traffic between rtc Cross Roads, Osmania University, Tarnaka, Amberpet, Uppal, and other points will be made easier thanks to the steel flyover.

Due to their central locations and the nearby residential and commercial facilities, all of these crossroads experience high traffic. Because there are several educational institutions and coaching centres in the neighbourhoods near these intersections, the traffic jams worsen during school and college hours. The municipal organisation had originally hoped to finish the flyover-related work by december 2022, but the schedule was pushed back because of persistent rain and later because of a decline in steel costs.
