The agency forecasts rain or thundershowers in Hyderabad's six zones, Charminar, Khairatabad, Kukatpally, LB Nagar, Secunderabad, and Serilingampally, until Tuesday. Additionally, it has predicted heavy downpours in many regions of the city. Up to september 5, 2023, the city is likely to have rain or thundershowers, according to the telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS).

Maredpally received the highest rainfall

The maximum rainfall was recorded in Maredpally, according to the TSDPS data. Maredpally had 42 mm of rainfall between 8:30 yesterday morning and 7 this morning. Musheerabad, at 37.3 mm, received the second-highest amount of rainfall after Maredpally. Overall, Hyderabad's recent rains have provided inhabitants with much-needed reprieve after a month of oppressive heat and scant precipitation.

Rainfall in hyderabad in the current monsoon season

Hyderabad has seen typical rainfall so far this monsoon season. Compared to the usual rainfall of 470.3 mm, the city has received an average rainfall of 463.9 mm. Maredpally, whose average rainfall was 567.5 mm compared to average rainfall of 480.8 mm, saw the greatest variance.
