On sunday evening, the city was once again battered by thunderstorms and heavy rain, which caused significant water logging and traffic gridlock. Residents of several colonies and slums experienced discomfort as a result of water inundation, and those living in low-lying regions that were already stagnant were hit again. The State was experiencing prolonged periods of torrential rain, which completely submerged the city and disrupted citizens' daily routines. The temperature in the city dropped significantly as a result of the constant rain.

People from all throughout the country are reporting water logging problems after rain. In a few areas, such as Rasoolpura, choutuppal, uppal, nagole, hayathnagar, manikonda, Shaikpet, Tolichowki, Borabanda, bachupally, Chintal, manikonda, and nearby, the streets transformed into rivers as rainwater rushed into the homes. Many other parts of the city experienced water logging as a result of the rains. The flooded roadways sent drivers into a tizzy, which led to significant traffic congestion. Traffic officers fighting the rain struggled mightily to control the backed-up vehicle traffic. Particularly in certain locations, nalas were threateningly overflowing, keeping the local residents on edge.

The north and eastern parts of the city, including Maisammaguda in Medchal, east Anand Bagh, ayyappa colony, and several other colonies, are still completely submerged in water, and rain has made the situation worse. The city government is urged to start a clean drive and clear waste right away by residents who live close to nalas and in low-lying regions near lakes. Additionally, strikes between 120 and 140 KA were detected in various locations inside the Malakpet, Dilsukhnagar, Kothapet, L B Nagar, Amberpet, and charminar circles. According to weatherman T Balaji, "These are such deadly strikes that can provide electricity to hyderabad for a week." In addition to other circumstances, the india Meteorological Department (IMD) in hyderabad issued a yellow advisory for the State that included predictions of significant rainfall, thunderstorms, lightning, and squalls.

Gadwal Vijayalakshmi, the mayor of the GHMC, has asked residents to stay inside. Additionally, citizens have been provided with helplines in case they need anything. She stated in a post that "Heavy rains are anticipated. Residents are urged to stay inside. Contact the GHMC-DRF control room at 040-21111111 or 9000113667 for assistance with any rain-related problems. She also gave orders for everyone to be on high alert. Emergency teams for the monsoon and EVDM personnel are on the ground keeping an eye on the complaints.
