The troubles of bjp, which started in the state after its defeat in the karnataka Assembly elections, do not

seem to be ending. The party is facing continuous setbacks here. Now more than 15 prominent leaders and

former councilors of bjp and Janata Dal (S) joined congress on Friday. During this, Deputy Chief Minister

DK Shivkumar was also present. According to report, among the leaders who joined hands with Congress

is former councilor L. There are names like Srinivas, Anjanappa, H. Suresh, Venkata Swamy Naidu,

Narayana, Ramu, Balanna, Kabaddi Babu and M. Nagaraj. In this program organized at Bharat Jodo

Auditorium of the party office in Bengaluru, DK Shivakumar gave the congress flag to everyone and

welcomed them into the party. This is the third major success of congress after the elections. In fact,

before this, many big leaders of bjp and JD-S from Yesvantpur and RR nagar constituencies in Bengaluru

have also joined Congress.

DK Shivkumar targeted BJP

Taking aim at the bjp, deputy chief minister DK Shivakumar said, "BJP is not treating its leaders well,

which is why many leaders from there have come here. bjp and JD-S leaders from Padmanabhanagar

constituency, who Worked as a major force behind gaining power in the Municipal Corporation, came to

congress only because of the party's misbehavior."
