IMD Issues Yellow ALERT for Northeastern Telangana - Anticipate Heavy Rainfall

According to a statement from the IMD, Telangana's northern and northeastern regions, particularly Mancherial, Kamareddy, Nizamabad, Nirmal, jaishankar Bhupalpally, and Mulugu, are predicted to see heavy rain today and tomorrow. While thundershowers and mild to moderate rainfall are anticipated throughout telangana, it added.

"A low-pressure system has passed through, particularly in the northeastern portion of the Bay of Bengal. Over jharkhand, the low-pressure region has faded and changed into upper air circulation. From jharkhand to telangana, it spans the Vidarbha and chhattisgarh regions up to 1.5 km above mean sea level. As a result, telangana will see rain throughout the state, according to Sravani, an IMD hyderabad scientist.
