Marri Rajasekhar reddy created and is the CEO of Arundathi Hospitals, which provides free medical care to everyone, regardless of income level. The hospital is situated in Hyderabad's Gandimaisamma neighborhood, close to Dundigal. In addition to fulfilling a commitment to his mother, Rajasekhar reddy founded this hospital after being moved to act in service by KT Rama Rao.

When Marri Rajasekhar reddy wished to help the community, he chose to establish a hospital in her honor. He was told by his mother that she would only allow him to take the hospital into her name if it did not have a system in place for charging patients. In other words, medical care ought to be free. Rajasekhar kept the advice he gave to his mother three years later. Without receiving any gifts or financial assistance from anybody else, he spends Rs 1.5 crore each month to operate a 450-bed super-specialty medical facility.

The family runs the KMR Educational Society, which has engineering, management, and pharmacy institutes and the funds generated from these institutes help in running the ArundathiInstitute of Medical Sciences and Hospital in Dundigal in the Medchal-Malkajgiri district of Telangana.

“Arundathi Hospital is the only individual-run private hospital not only in the telangana state but perhaps in the entire country where treatment, diagnostics, and medicines are offered free of cost to everyone, irrespective of financial status, class, or caste. I was inspired by Mother Teresa’s service-oriented approach and our minister K T Rama Rao’s ‘Gift a Smile’ initiative. I have seen many broken families due to unaffordable health care, as an entrepreneur who believed in making quality products and services affordable, I made a promise to my mother to build a hospital that will last generations, where every family can gain access to quality healthcare.
