In 2009, one of my reports “Rangnath Mishra Commission Report” was published (leaked) in the weekly

newspaper in delhi where I worked. In the winter session of the same year, there was a huge uproar in both the

houses of the Parliament. Compulsively, this report, pending for years, was tabled in the House. 14 years have

passed, no one knows where that report is, what condition it is in. This is because when the report of bihar Caste survey was published, it was revealed that Muslims have not only been divided into castes but there are upper

castes among them, there are OBCs among them, but if you look closely, you will find that there are no SCs

among them. Why isn’t it? And an even bigger surprise is that you would not have heard a single word from the

mouth of all the Muslim leaders and Muslim intellectuals of bihar or the country that whatever may be the reality,

there is no concept of caste in islam, then in the bihar Caste Survey. How were Muslims divided into castes?

Where are the upper caste Muslims, backward Muslims and Dalit Muslims?

However, the bihar Caste survey report states that the number of Muslims is 17.7%, out of which about 5% are

upper caste and the rest are backward Muslims. It is noteworthy that islam does not talk about caste in its

foundation. However, even in india there are castes, sub-castes, there is a lot of caste discrimination among

Muslims. This fact has been put forward repeatedly by two committees of the country (Sachar Committee and

Ranganath Mishra Commission) including Pasmanda Muslim Mahaj founder and former rajya sabha member

ali Anwar Ansari through his reports and books. ali Anwar Ansari once asked me why even today Muslims are

being treated unfairly under Article 341. Their old demand is that the Presidential Ordinance of 1950 mentioned

under this article should also be rejected which prevents scheduled caste status from being given to Muslims

whereas initially only Hindus were given scheduled caste status and later through amendment, Neo-Buddhists

and Sikhs were also given scheduled caste status. Has been given the status of. Ansari, in his new book

“Sampoorna Dalit Andolan: Pasmanda Tasavur”, explains this issue in great detail, what is the situation of

linguistic and religious minorities in the country at present, which was earlier also done by Sachar Committee and

Ranganath Mishra Commission in their reports.
