The issue of degree of cabinet minister Lalchand Kataria in the congress government has now become heated.
On this matter, bjp state spokesperson Laxmikant Bhardwaj said that under the rule of congress government in
the state, not only the MLAs but also the ministers are playing with the sentiments of the people by telling lies.
Bhardwaj said that RTI activists have extracted documents of Agriculture minister Lalchand Kataria, in which
the case of wrong information given to the election commission has come to light. He further said that the
situation in rajasthan is such that the workshop of congress itself starts with lies and in it only lying and
presenting false facts are taught.
Laxmikant Bhardwaj said that according to the news circulating on social media, rajasthan Government's
Agriculture minister Lalchand Kataria has given a false affidavit in the election commission regarding his
educational qualification. In the 2003 assembly elections, Kataria declared himself as 12th class pass in the
nomination papers filed from Amer assembly constituency, whereas in the 2008 assembly elections, he declared
himself as 10th class pass in the nomination papers filed from Jhotwara seat. In such a situation, far from
increasing, the educational qualification of the congress minister decreased. Kataria's low educational
qualification is raising questions on Kataria’s affidavit, while a more shocking fact has come to light that the
school from where Kataria said he had passed 10th and 12th, has refused to accept Kataria as a student. done.
After this his education has come under question.
He claimed that Agriculture minister Lalchand Kataria had declared himself to be Intermediate (12th) pass from
Inter college of Rae bareli (UP) in the affidavit given along with the nomination form filled from Amer
Assembly in the 2003 assembly elections. Whereas in the 2008 assembly elections, in the affidavit filled from
Jhotwara seat, he had declared himself as 10th pass. In four elections he has given different details regarding
education. While contesting elections, every candidate has to give an affidavit regarding his education, cases,
property, assets and liabilities. In this affidavit, Kataria declared himself to be 12th pass in the 2003 elections,
whereas five years later, in the 2008 elections he declared himself to be 10th pass.
