The Central election Committee of bjp has released the fifth list for madhya pradesh assembly elections.
In this list, ticket has been given to Rajendra Meshram from Devsar Vidhan Sabha Seat of Singrauli.
Opposition to Rajendra Meshram has also started after getting the ticket. The villagers, including workers
from many other villages including Mada, raised slogans against Rajendra Meshram. This time the workers
and villagers of Devsar assembly were demanding a local candidate.
Actually, bjp has made Rajendra Meshram its candidate by canceling the ticket of sitting mla Subhash
Chandra Verma from Devsar assembly seat of Singrauli district. Rajendra Meshram is said to be originally
a resident of Balaghat, but he started his political journey from Singrauli. He was mla from Devsar
assembly seat from 2013 to 2018, but the public was unhappy with his tenure. After a lot of opposition,
BJP canceled the ticket of Rajendra Meshram in the year 2018 and fielded Subhash Verma from this seat.
Subhash Verma is currently MLA
From 2018 till now, Subhash Verma is the bjp mla on this seat, but like in the 2013 assembly elections,
again bjp has given ticket to Rajendra Meshram from here and has fielded him in the electoral battle, after
which the villagers including party workers. I am angry. people are taking to the streets and protesting
against him with slogans like remove Rajendra, save Devsar, if he is not removed then they will boycott the
voting. It is noteworthy that there are more than 2.20 lakh voters in Devsar assembly itself.
