Voices of protest have started being raised over prime minister Narendra Modi’s decision to attend the Ram
Temple inauguration ceremony. In this connection, Maulana Mahmood Madani, Chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind,
the largest religious organization of Muslims, has issued a statement and registered a protest. He bluntly said that
the country’s prime minister Azam should not go for the foundation of any temple or any place of worship.
Did Maulana Mahmood Asad Madani say anything?
He said, “It is being said that a mosque is being built in ayodhya and our prime minister will go there and
inaugurate it. We want to say two things. Firstly, we do not accept the court's decision on ayodhya as correct. We
believe that that decision has been taken in the wrong environment, in the wrong way, on the wrong grounds. He
said, The second thing is that the prime minister of the country, Azam, should not go for the foundation of any
temple or any place of worship. You should keep yourself away from this. The matter of religion is a matter of the
people. I want to tell the people of Jamiat that if they participate in such a program in any way, even verbally...
action will be taken against them.
