Senior bjp leader CD ravi has said that I am not in the party expecting the post. Former chief minister Yeddyurappa's son Vijayendra (47) has been appointed as karnataka State bjp President. Nalin Kumar Katil, who has been serving as karnataka state bjp president since 2019, has been replaced by Yeddyurappa's youngest son Vijayendra. Vijayendra's appointment as the 10th president of the bjp in karnataka is indicative of Yeddyurappa's influence within the party. Besides, Vijayendra, who contested from Shikaripura constituency in the last assembly election and won as an mla for the first time, is also considered as an efficient leader.

On the other hand, it is said that Vijayendra was given the post of state president, ignoring the senior leaders of the karnataka state party, which has left many people dissatisfied. While Yeddyurappa's supporters have largely welcomed Vijayendra's appointment, several leaders from bjp national general secretary PL Chandosh's camp have expressed their reservations.

Speaking to reporters in Bengaluru, CD ravi was asked about this. He replied, “I have conveyed my congratulations to Vijayendra. The position of state chairman of the party is not power; It is a responsibility. No one can claim that responsibility. I did not join the party expecting any post. For 25 years, whatever responsibility the party leadership has given me, I have done my work diligently.” As I have not asked for any post, there is no room for dissatisfaction. He also said that he will work with Vijayendra. Meanwhile, reports have surfaced that Yeddyurappa has embarked on efforts to resolve the displeasure of senior leaders in order to increase cooperation for his son.
