sealed the fate of 61 candidates in EVM machines. This time the political reputation of three veteran leaders and
ministers is at stake in Bhilwara parliamentary constituency. In this, two are senior leaders of congress and one
is a senior leader expelled from BJP. Here, there is a direct contest between two veteran leaders and a triangular
conflict with the third one. This time Revenue minister ram Lal Jat has a direct contest with the bjp candidate
on the hottest Mandal assembly seat of Bhilwara district. ram Lal Jat is considered close to Chief Minister
Ashok Gehlot. Whereas bjp has fielded former rebel candidate uday Lal Bhadana in place of former minister
Kalu Lal Gurjar. Due to which the contest on this seat has become very interesting. The voting percentage of
Mandal assembly has surprised everyone.
Shahpura seat reserved for Scheduled Tribe
81.51 percent voting took place here, whereas in the 2018 elections, 77.61 percent voting took place here. If we
talk about Shahpura, the second seat of Bhilwara district, it is reserved for Scheduled Tribes. There is a
triangular contest on this seat. Apart from congress and bjp, there is senior leader Kailash Meghwal as an
independent candidate on this seat. He has been a former assembly Speaker and Minister. Kailash Meghwal had
contested the 2018 elections as a bjp candidate from Shahpura assembly seat and registered the biggest victory.
He defeated the congress candidate by a margin of 74,542 votes.
