social basis. Food and Civil Supplies minister Lal Chand Kataruchak has told about this. minister Lal Chand

demand was made by congress MLA sandeep Jakhar to reveal the number of ration cards canceled in Abohar.
1.57 crore ration cards issued in the state
On the question of congress MLA sandeep Jakhar, minister Kataruchak said that during the verification of
ration cards in the state, unfortunately the ration cards of some such people were also cancelled. Which were not
to be cancelled. About 3,971 ration cards have been canceled in Abohar district during one year. Out of which
there are 1549 ration cards of Abohar Assembly. minister Kataruchak said that a person whose ration card has
been wrongly canceled can file an appeal with the director Food and Civil Supplies Department as per Clause 17
of the punjab TPDS Control Order 2016. He told that about 1.57 crore ration cards have been issued in the state.
youth returned to drug addiction after treatment
While answering a question during the assembly session, health minister Dr. Balbir Singh said that after getting
de-addiction done after oral medicine, 80-90 percent of the youth are turning back towards drug addiction. In
such a situation, the health Department will now revise the mental health policy and will also make efforts to
