Reportedly the central government has clarified the alleged conspiracy to kill Khalistan terrorist Gurpadwant Singh Pannoon. Responding to questions about India's alleged plot to kill US-based Khalistan terrorist Gurpadwant Singh Bannoon, the External Affairs Ministry said it was a 'matter of concern'. The central government also said that a high-level inquiry has been initiated into the allegations. Responding to media queries on allegations that an indian civil servant worked with Nikhil Gupta and some others in a conspiracy to assassinate Gurbatwant Singh Pannoon, who leads the Khalistani organization Sikhs for Justice, the spokesperson of the Union Ministry of External Affairs, Arindam Bagshi, gave the above information.


“It is a matter of concern that a case filed against an individual in a US court allegedly linked him to an indian official. We have said that this too is against government policy.” Arindam Bagshi has said. “Transnational organized crime, trafficking, shootings and terrorist links are a serious issue for law enforcement agencies. That is why a high-level inquiry committee has been constituted and according to its report, we will act.” He also said.


External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Arindam Bagshi declined to provide further information saying that no information can be shared on such security matters. Gurpadwant Singh is closely related to Khalistan terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, who was gunned down in Canada.
