Reportedly the state government formed a cabinet sub-committee under the leadership of health minister Dinesh Gundurao to control Covid-19 in the state and issued an order on Sunday. minister H. C. Mahadevappa, Sharanu Prakash Patil and M. C sudhakar has been appointed as a member of the sub-committee. A cabinet sub-committee comprising three ministers has been formed under the chairmanship of Dinesh Gundurao. minister H. C. Mahadevappa, Sharanu Prakash Patil and M. C sudhakar has been appointed as a member of the sub-committee. The committee will review infectious diseases including covid. This committee will decide all matters including the purchase of medicines and mandatory masks.


Chief minister Siddaramaiah held a meeting on december 21 with the concerned officials including the health Department in view of the increasing number of Covid cases in the state. In this meeting he gave some suggestions to the officials. He also said that he will form a cabinet sub-committee on Covid management. Accordingly, the state government has officially formed a cabinet sub-committee and issued an order.
